Virtual reality and video surveillance

Technology development helps to improve the quality of security systems, reduce employee costs, and simplify the use of surveillance equipment. According to experts, augmented reality technology may play a significant role in the future. Major companies such as Microsoft, Google, Intel, and Apple are among the developers.
The essence of the technology is to transmit information to the user (operator) through special devices (helmet or glasses). The latter can be anywhere at this moment, which will not prevent him from carrying out activities that previously required direct presence at the workplace.
With regard to video surveillance, we can recall the services of remote access to cameras. Videos from them can now be viewed from a tablet or smartphone – it is not necessary to be at the registrar with a monitor all the time.
The developers of augmented reality technology are going to introduce the ability to view "pictures" from video cameras through glasses or a helmet. In addition, it is reported that the interface of the VR program includes options for controlling tracking devices, interacting with other elements (smart home, etc.).
