Vulnerability Detected and Fixed in NUUO DVRs

NUUO’s DVRs have identified several “weaknesses” with which a potential attacker could gain access to their settings. It is known that in this case almost a million video cameras would be defenseless - you can always turn them off or reconfigure them.

Important: at the moment, the problem is solved and you can continue to use the products of a brand that is not the most famous in Russia.

One of the reasons for the vulnerabilities is the lack of attention to commands on the part of users. In theory, it is possible to overflow the stack buffer, and then the system would pass an unauthorized person to the options available only to the administrator. Approximately the same method was also based on 2 methods for hacking a DVR.

A special team carefully monitors the operation of the equipment and tests it for malfunctions. Most of the hacking methods are too complicated and practically unrealizable in practice, but they also try to find them in order to eliminate them.
