Installation of video surveillance in the entire subway
A few days ago, the Moscow Metro received an order to install video surveillance in almost all subway cars.
In total, about 5,000 wagons (5,179) will be equipped. The equipment will be installed in almost all trains, which until now had no tracking system.
Among other things, video recorders with a capacity of 84 hours of recording of what is happening in the cabins and cabins will be installed in the driver's cabins. According to the Moscow metro, this measure will make it possible to monitor the situation in the subway with the highest degree of accuracy and monitor the processes taking place in it.
By the way, the previously installed wireless Wi-Fi data transmission system will help transmit the video card online to the situation center at the signal of the controller.About 1,600 wagons have already been provided with tracking equipment. In addition, the currently manufactured formulations already provide for the availability of such devices.
