One of the common problems that almost everyone has encountered is the need to spend personal time waiting for a courier to deliver a purchase or other cargo. There is also often a problem with receiving shipments due to the fact that the messenger cannot enter the house / entrance.

"Smart" locks from UPS and analogues can solve the problem today. The scheme looks like this: the messenger has a special tag with him, which the lock reads and ensures the passage of a person inside. At the same time, the system will remember the unique identifier – the courier does not remain anonymous and can always be found if necessary.

So far, the system has been tested in only a few US cities, but the results are encouraging. The technology is mainly supposed to be used by large online stores and delivery companies (FedEx, etc.). Thanks to this solution, the problem with entering the entrance (but not the apartment) disappears. However, it is unknown whether it will become widespread.
