Event control of video surveillance in banks

MICRODIGITAL, together with KISAN Electronics, has developed an opportunity to improve control over the actions of the bank's employees and its customers. Now, typical operator actions, such as issuing a check or recalculating bills, will also be displayed as relevant text information in the video surveillance archive. The camera aimed at the operator will take a picture, attaching information from the receipt to it — data from the parties, date and time, amount and type of operation.

The innovation has positive aspects both for clients and for the management of the financial institution:

• It is always possible to determine if fraudulent actions have been committed by the client.;

• it will be possible to detect the operator's error — for example, incorrectly "typed" data into the computer, including the incorrectly specified amount.

The bank will not have to buy additional equipment or software. The new options will be included in the standard software package and can be connected at will. In no way does the developer force all clients to make the appropriate settings. Like other software features, whether or not to enable the event control function is the result of an informed decision by each bank.
