SKUD - access control and management system. This is a combination of equipment and software that controls the passage of people into the territory and between its separate zones (offices, floors). Includes turnstiles, electronic locks, biometric sensors, card readers and key fobs, as well as other equipment. There are large systems that control entire buildings. According to statistics, the need for them is growing every year.

Sales of access control devices associated with the building management platform overtake the rest of the ACS market. Sales of such devices will grow, according to the forecast, on average by 12.5% per year, and sales of ACS equipment as a whole - by less than 9% per year. The fact of growth indicates the interest of representatives of business and government agencies.

One of the key advantages of ACS over other methods of control over the territory is their impartiality and high speed of work. The device memory can store data on thousands of employees or residents. It is not necessary to spend a lot of time on the identification of each (as is the case with a person checking them by a security guard). It is especially valuable for industrial enterprises where time delays are unacceptable.

Important: According to the results of 2017, about 30% of access control systems were installed with a connection to the building management system.
