The list includes over 2,000 cameras that any citizen can connect to. They are broadcast around the clock or according to a schedule. The decision to publish the list is dictated by the following considerations:

• It is necessary to reduce the likelihood of illegal actions on the streets of the capital;

• access to the camera will allow the victim to use videos from them as evidence when contacting the police.

The number of tracking devices on the streets of Moscow is growing annually. These are both private equipment and systems owned by government organizations.
