New NVR 4.0 firmware from Hikvision

Network NVR Hikvision recorders Super I series have received a firmware update. NVR 4.0 will replace the existing version 3.0. The manufacturer announces a change in the user interface, which will become more user-friendly. The intelligent functions of the cameras will also change.

Full list of new options:

· Target detection. An extraneous object detected by the equipment is displayed on the monitor in a separate window, and is also recorded in a separate file;

· Switching between windows and dragging them is now more convenient;

· Videos from individual windows will be able to run in semi-transparent mode. This concerns the reproduction of thumbnails;

· It is now possible to work with menus while exporting video data. It was previously unavailable.

· The list of installed video cameras can now be displayed not only as a text list, but also as thumbnails. This makes it much easier to determine the point where a penetration or other event is recorded.

The software also includes the Smart Data Release application, which helps to increase the storage time of really important videos. The HDD Health Management application as part of the update is designed to improve the reliability of archived data protection.
