PTZ camera developers are actively fighting for their market share. Pelco by Schneider Electric has been doing this successfully for several years. Its experts introduced the world another new product - the Spectra Professional IR PTZ camera.

The equipment was originally designed for a wide range of facilities. But in the first turn, these are places with a large territory, which is usually “guarded” by several cameras. The novelty is able to replace them without reducing the effectiveness of observation. To work at night, a powerful infrared illumination with an effective range of 150 meters is provided.

The developers themselves consider the main detail to be an opportunity to review areas that are difficult to see, provided that a typical installation is in / out. Examples: bridge piers, cable route installation sites, upper floors of high-rise buildings, ships in the port.

The Spectra Professional IR outdoor camera is protected against moisture and temperature changes. There is an image stabilizer that neutralizes defects in the “picture” caused by vibration of the platform on which the bracket with the camera is mounted. This may be sections of the route, the place of some work.

Optimization of the archive size did not go unnoticed. If there are no active actions in the field of view, the number of data transmitted to the video server / to the cloud is reduced. This technology is not a development of Pelco by Schneider Electric, but is still not used in all camcorder models.
