Polling stations in the Moscow region will be equipped with surveillance cameras

September 18 is marked as a Single voting Day, and employees of the relevant structures are already preparing for its holding. Considerable attention is paid to the issue of monitoring the observance of established rules by voters. One of the solutions to the issue was the installation of video surveillance devices at all polling stations. Andrey Vorobyov, Governor of the Moscow Region, spoke about the adoption of this decision.
In the elections on September 18, voters will cast their ballots for candidates for deputies of the State Duma. Elections of governors and deputies to local legislative assemblies will also be held in the regions. At the moment, the Moscow region is the only one in which such a thorough equipping of sites with video cameras will be carried out.
The practice of using tracking systems at events of national importance is only gaining momentum. In some regions, cameras were previously used to monitor the passing of the Unified State Exam. A good example is provided by foreign world leaders who are actively implementing analog and digital video surveillance in all significant locations.
