Blockchain Identity

Blockchain is a data storage technology that has gained popularity these days. The bottom line is that the information is contained in a computer system that does not have a common center. Hacking even parts of machines will not help with access to the necessary information. To do this, it would be necessary to circumvent the protection of many computers at the same time, which is unrealistic. That is precisely why technology is considered to be highly reliable.

2 companies (Shyft Network and Distilled Analytics) are developing a blockchain-based identity system. User personal data will be stored in a decentralized store, protected from theft. But this was not the key feature of the development.

Distilled Analytics is creating a mathematical model of human behavior. Using artificial intelligence and a set of source data, specialists are able to analyze the actions of the subscriber and identify the characteristic features peculiar only to him.

“To verify the user's identity, it will use advanced biometrics and predictive identification analytics,” the representatives of both companies said in a statement. “A high level of validation will be achieved through the use of new data sources and methods.”

More specific information is not yet known. However, already now companies are actively investing in development, having seen great prospects in it.

The practical use of the model is still far, but because the typical elements of ACS remain in demand. Their effectiveness has been proven by the example of thousands of protected objects.
