Booking of recordings from surveillance cameras for residents of Moscow

Residents of the capital will know where all the surveillance cameras are located, and will also be able to place reservations on non-archived video recordings required to clarify the circumstances of the incident. This innovation is being introduced to improve the quality of interaction between an ordinary person and government agencies. The list of camera addresses and all related information, according to the press service of the Moscow Department of Information Technology, will be posted on every entrance and electronic media by the beginning of winter.

The video recordings will last for five days. If it is necessary to extend the period up to a month, it is required to call the customer service number 8-495-587-00-02.All data is transferred to a single data storage and processing Center. Access to the videos is only possible for employees of departmental bodies. An open access point to archived information will start operating for ordinary citizens from October this year.
